Hillary or Bust

Apparently Obamabots have been real busy in the past day or so. Uppity Woman has reported on the Blogger censorship, and it turns out that she has been under spam arrest since June 3rd. (She, however, is able to post as long she goes through a captcha verification process.) Uppity, like many of us, has just moved her blog over to Wordpress.com.

From reading the comments, it appears that many other blogs have been affected. Here is my current list of blogs that have been locked down (which I’m sure only scratches the surface):

Folks are discussing this and other kinds of online censorship over at the Hillary Clinton Forum. As is reported there, I have also had my pro-Hillary/anti-Obama comments censored on some major news website (ABC specifically) while the most inane pro-Obama posts were let through.

They did this to me when my article “New American Disenfranchisement” made it to the frontpage at huffpo. Within a couple hours of the front page, my traffic spiked and wham! I’m a spam blog. I contacted sharholder services threatened to sell off my stock, they made a call, and I’m online with a few hours. Less than four hours later: Wham! I’m a Spam Blog.
I now have a private email address to a blogger employee who got me back on-line and I have had no problems in the 1.5 months since. If anyone wants needs it (pumas or other mccain supporters that is) go to Politically drunk and send me a private email, Ill write you back.
He also informed me that my blog was marked as SPAM because of that little Flag button at the top of your page. If too many people flag your blog (don’t know the number)the bot automatically shuts you down for review. That’s why Puma and McCain Sites are being shut down.
I don’t have the link, but go to the blogger help groups and search for “remove navbar”, you will find a couple sites that have posted the html code that will remove the navbar from your webpage, just as I did on my site. NO MORE FLAGS!

I was blocked as well. This isn’t just bad form, I believe it’s actually against blogger.com’s use conditions and also likely illegal for someone to maliciously tamper with another person’s blog to suppress it.

Here’s my post on the topic: Obama and the politics of intolerance.

I won’t be posting an alternative link, instead I’m going to try to contact blogger.com to see if they’re doing anything to change policy to prevent this from happening. I consider this a vulnerability of their platform, and unless they’re in the tank for Obama they should correct it (e.g. change algorithm so that it doesn’t actually block posting from something flagged as spam, it at most prompts a review or prompts author to interact with the system before a deadline, but assumes the blog is valid until proven otherwise).

I have just noticed that an anti obama guy on youtube has been barred from there.

His account name was Nobama08, and he had loads of anti obama videos, a lot of them were muslim stuff, and the front page had a picture of Obama in Osama clothes and head gear. A bit extreme I know, but what about freedom of speech. He has been posting new videos for months and months, but has suddenly been banned. Ive seen most of the videos and none of the recent ones are any worse than the older ones which have been up for ages. I dont get it. Speak out against Obama and you get silenced?

More and more I am reminded jsut how fragile our greedoms really are. The Obama campaign can jsut go around and stifle free speech- whihc basically sucks! I am going to follow Uppity’s example and
1. Save all my blog posts to my puter
2. Set up a new accopunt on word press or another site for when they come in the night to get my blog.

I attract very little attention, bt have had my blog hacked twice in the last two weeks. First time they screwed with my video bar- I had a link to Flineo’s channel- they turned it into a hate Hillary video site. I had to delete the video bar. The just yesterday, my blog list was hacked and they screwed with the link to this site- I could not fix it- kept going to Alegre’s Corner dot com. So, being the nast old typical white woman I am, I put up a blog post with this adress in it!

I won’t back down!
