Another Crazy Liberal Making Us Sane Liberals Look Bad
By Hillary Taft - Monday, September 15th, 2008
This takes the cake. Photographer Jill Greenberg was hired by The Atlantic to take a photo of John McCain. Not only did she purposefully try to make him look bad for his cover shot, she photoshopped his pictures to create a disturbing series of photos that included a monkey defecating on McCain’s head.
This is a 40something woman acting like a childish bully.
Her reason? She’s against the war and hates Republicans.
Let met get something straight here. I am a social liberal and still a registered Democrat. Insane liberals like this infuriate me. They act in stupid, petty, hateful ways and thus hurt all liberals, especially moderate sane ones, with their crass, juvenile behavior.
Jill Greenberg apparently has issues, however. Back in 2004, she was so upset about the Iraq War that she emotionally abused children so that they would cry in front of the camera and then put anti-Bush and anti-war slogans on their photos. (Pardon for the Michelle Malkin link, but she has examples of the children’s photos there.)
What kind of psycho would think it’s OK to abuse children in the name of “stopping war”? Greenberg is a one-woman army, spreading hate and destruction in her wake. She’s a war in and of herself.
Greenberg explained these images as follows:
“I also thought they made a kind of political statement about the current state of anxiety a lot of people are in about the future of the country. Sometimes I just feel like crying about the way things are going.”
Yeah. Uh huh. No, I think you aren’t crying about the way things are going. There you are, a celebrity photographer, making good money exploiting children and taking pictures of famous people. If you are crying a lot, it’s because you have serious issues and need to go see a shrink.
Please, conservatives who read this, don’t presume all liberals are psychotic hateful morons. Some of us are quite reasonable and sane. Thank you.

Don’t worry,I don’t lump all liberals together. I am a conservative and I actually enjoy a healthy discussion of issues with someone who can defend their position without becoming becoming rude or using personal attacks. Several of my friends are liberals and we frequently discuss political issues on which we disagree. We just don’t insult each others intelligence or make inflammatory remarks.
I’ll give sane liberals a pass on Ms. Greenberg’s pictures as long as ya’ll agree to give us one the next time someone like David Duke opens his mouth.
Having said that, I believe Ms. Greenberg should suffer consequences for her actions just as I believe any conservative who does something similar should be held accountable.

As a conservative, I’m disgusted with the increasingly venomous verbiage being spewed on left, liberal and ‘progressive’ websites. It’s simply amazing that people post such things, and then have the brass to tell us how tolerant, empathetic, kind, gentle, and compassionate they are.
Thankfully, there is the occasional voice of sanity speaking from across the divide…if only there were more of a chorus… :hand reaching out:

How did she purposefully make him look bad on the cover? That’s how he looks in person. He spoke at my church, believe me I know.
Let’s not make up thigs to add to the controversy people.

“How did she purposefully make him look bad on the cover?”
Jill Greenberg herself said she tried to make him look bad by submitting photos that were barely airbrushed. She herself said:
“I left his eyes red and his skin looking bad.”

I personally think the photo makes McCain look strong and real. Greenberg is obviously so wrapped up in her hate she can’t see the depth of the man that was right in front of her own camera.
