Boycott Obama’s Infomercial – Watch Pushing Daisies Instead

By Hillary Taft - Wednesday, October 29th, 2008

I can’t speak to claims that Obama might try to hypnotize his audience in his infomercials tonight. I’m just anti-propaganda, and what is a half-hour commercial but a lot of propaganda?

Therefore, I will agree with “Not Your Sweetie” who asks us to watch Pushing Daisies instead. Pushing Daisies is a great show in danger of cancellation – so give it a boost in the ratings while giving Obama the virtual finger.

I hope his ratings were low. A few talk show hosts told people not to watch so his ratings go down. They said they will watch and dissect it so others wont have to :) I sure didn’t watch his propaganda show even though it was on 3 local channels as well as probably on the big news channels. Glad you are getting the word out.

I didn’t watch it. Not because I am worried about being hypnotized, but because it is insane that he can pay for a 30 minute infomercial during prime-time because he didn’t take pulic campaign financing “even though he said he would”.

If McCain backed out, the Obama camp would say McCain backed out on his word- but that is exactly what Obama did.

Obama can’t possible lower taxes for anyone given the current financial climate. Infact, it is most likely that he will have to raise taxes on everyone. Maybe I should drink the Obama Kool-Aid and start believing that Obama being elected is going to solve all our problems. Atleast then I don’t have to face reality anymore.

P.S. I am not saying the Repulicans can fix all our problems, but to believe the Dems can when they have had control of both houses for the last two years is rediculous. Frank, Dodd, Pelosi and Obama taking large contributions from Freddie and Fannie does not give me a warm fuzzy of hope either.
