If You’re Coming Here from Blackgirl Online…

I suddenly started receiving a rash of angry, hateful, idiotic comments in response to my last post. I checked my logs and I’ve apparently been linked up from a pornography website called “Blackgirl Online.” I will spare you the link, because I don’t give traffic to sites like those. (Sufficed to say, when you go to the site, you are assaulted with images of black women’s body parts – T&A and worse.)
Judging from the low quality comments, these guys are proving the point that pornography rots your brain. The amount of sheer hatred they are spewing towards women is all an all too common thread among men who are addicted to porn. These guys are angry because they are constantly being brainwashed with unrealistic images of women – women they can never have themselves. These guys then take their anger out on feminists, since for some bizarre reason, they blame us for their blue balls.
(Um, guys, I’m not the one peddling unrealistic images of women so you will open up your pocketbooks and waste your money on strippers, porn, and related sexist nonsense. Guys, when are you going to figure out you are getting played by the sex industry? Wake up!)
Sufficed to say, if you are coming from that website to post an obnoxious, crude, hate-filled comment, you aren’t going to get your voice heard here. Go start your own anti-feminist misogyny blog but don’t expect me to publish your hate and insecurities here. May I suggest, however, that you give your penis a break and stop filling your brain up with unrealistic images of women you will never, ever have. Go to a therapist and get some healing for your porn addiction, and when you are ready, go find a real woman to have an honest-to-goodness relationship with. That is, if you are man enough to do that.
