I used to approve all comments here except for spam, until I noticed a pattern in the pro-Obama comments. The pro-Obama comments all started sounding familiar, like they were being written by the same person. Then I noticed a few pro-Obama comments posted here that had also been posted on other websites, by authors claiming to be just regular folks without an agenda. It was evident that these posts were not by “real people” but by Obama campaigners.
The most sickening comment of this nature posted around PUMA blogs was from someone who claimed to be a mother of a soldier, begging people to vote for Obama so her child could come back from Iraq.
Once Obama got the “nomination,” the Obama comments became more rude and obnoxious. One Obama supporter felt it was her duty to come to my blog on a daily basis just to insult me.
There are, in fact, two basic types of Obamabot comments. One is the canned response that tries to sound reasonable and twists the facts for the purpose of spreading Obama propaganda. The second is the emotional outburst that offers up no substance and simply spews hate.
Here are a few examples of insults thrown at me by Obama online campaigners. I’m not sure why they think insulting me is going to make me suddenly change my mind:
ARE YOU INSANE? I AM INSULTED BY YOUR WOMEN ONLY FOLLOW WOMEN – WHO CARES ABOUT OUR COUNTRY! DO YOU CARE ABOUT AMERICA? GET SERIOUS OBAMA 2008
…
You’re a disgrace to logical thinkers everywhere, and you and other Hillary supports like you do us women a great disservice. I’m disgusted with you.
…
Your posts are just getting more and more rediculous by the day! You’ve got to
either be VERY single and/or VERY emotional. You are a weak-minded woman and you
need to grow a thicker skin.
…
Real classy, these folks.
Thus, due to the insults and outright propaganda that is being spread by people with an obvious agenda, I will not allow any Obama propaganda comments on my website. This includes:
- Debunked smears saying that Sarah Palin bans books or wants women to pay for rape kits.
- Juvenile insults calling me or PUMA supporters stupid or crazy.
- Propaganda comments trying to downplay Obama’s very real radical history, such as his relationship with Bill Ayers.
- Fear-based tactics over Roe v. Wade.
- Sexist comments about Sarah Palin or Hillary Clinton.
- Ridiculous charges that McCain must be a sexist hater of women because he got a divorce, like many people do, 30 years ago.
- Or any other attempt at Obamaganda (Obama propaganda).
Free speech does not mean I am required to publish your words on my website. If you want to say something, start your own blog.
